Summary Results

We played on Los Lagos.  The team format was 2 player teams, counting one best ball net.  Playing handicaps for the team competition were 85% of the course handicap.  Two singles were combined across tee times to form one of the teams.  We also had individual overall net and net skins by flight, using 100% of course handicap, although skin's handicaps are adjusted to play off the low in each flight.  Ron Plummer was the tournament director.

The first place team in the A Flight was Pete deBoer and Gene Ramirez.  Their best ball net score was a 12 under par 60, winning by a margin of 7 strokes.  The B Flight had a tie for first between Ryan Haeger / Eric Brady and Sean McGroarty / Russ Barrett.  Ryan and Eric didn't realize they would be a team, as they were playing as singles in their tee group.  Both teams scored a net 66.

Individual low net winners by flight were  Pete deBour, with a net 68;  Burnie Presho and Eric Gastineau tied, with net 71's;  Leon Tomasyan won, with a net 69;  Bruce Green and Russ Barrett tied with net 72's.

We had 21 skins distributed among four flights.  Winners of two skins were Pete deBour, Paul Hennessy and Eric Brady.

The last Presidents Cup match was played, with Tom Ebert winning the B Flight 6+4 over the other finalist, Joe Willis.  The tournament was extended about 6 weeks more than expected, due to many rain related postponements.  One wish of Jeff MacCarter, who organized the tournament, is that the two flight winners, Dave Wilson and Tom Ebert, will have an ultimate grand playoff match.  If that does happen, we will keep you posted.  Thanks to our many participants.

Also thanks to Ron Plummer for setting up and scoring this tournament.  Only two or three years ago we might only get 40 members to play on Los Lagos.  We had 82 players on the course yesterday.
