The first round of the CMSGA Club Championship (gross) was played on Los Lagos from the white tees.  

Leading after round one are Alex Cruz and Greg Prough, who both shot a 71.

The Championship (gross) will be decided by the lowest two day total from this round and the Thursday, September 10th round on Mesa Linda.  The entry fee is $12 for each day.  The winner is eligible to play on one of the SCGA Tournament of Club Champions offered in December, with entry fee reimbursed (about $200).  

Alex Cruz is the defending champion from 2025.
