This site cmsga.club is one of our primary means of communication with our members. Our tournaments are twice a month, held on the first and third Thursdays, and this is the place to look for the latest tournament sign up sheets, tee times and results.
We usually play on Mesa Linda in our first Thursday tournament. The third Thursday tournament is on Los Lagos about half of the time. We play a variety of formats with a mix of team and individual competitions. The planned formats, which are subject to change, are noted on our annual schedule and the sign up sheets. This website offers a "Guide to Entering Tournaments" to explain our process.
If you are new to playing with our Club, you do not need to know anyone to sign up for a tournament, even when we are playing a team format. While our tournaments generally offer the option to pick your playing partners, there are usually openings for singles to meet other members and form a friendly foursome. If space is available a week prior to the tournament, you are also welcome to bring a senior guest (age 50 and up).
The entry fee will cover tournament prizes. Green fees, carts or lunch, are generally not included, unless specified. Most tournaments include a skins competition, which may help motivate a continued effort, even after a bad start.
