July 7th First Thursday Tournament Results

At one point we had tee times for 92 players.  By tee time, we were down to 81.  Please give us as much notice as possible if you are likely to not be able to play.

Notable rounds were a pair of gross 74's.  Those low honors were shared by Mike Supple and Alex Cruz.  No one was close to our overall low net of the day.  Richard Swingle had a 64 and is now leading in the quest for Club Champion (net).  Our Club Championships will be decided on September 15th, combining the net score of that day with the lowest net of either July 7th, July 14th, August 4th or September 1st.  

Besides Richard, our other flight winners were Dean Skinner and in the low handicap flight, a three way tie among Bill Walker, Peter Cary and Mike McClanahan.  All had net 68's.

One interesting result in the low handicap flight is the outcome of dividing the payout for 6th place among 7 players.  Spoiler - not much.
