Summary Results *Here*
As always check the results for obvious errors.  I don’’t know where to start in my description of today’s play.
I think that the great weather brought out the best in our club.  Before I get to the winners let me recap a few things.  We had 19 members shoot gross scores in the 70s with the lowest being 72 shot by both Alex Cruz and Greg Prough, good job.  There were 9 net scores in the 60’s with the low being 66 by yours truly.  9 of our members got a natural birdie on #8 and 4 got a natural birdie on #9.
The team indexes ranged from a low of 32 to a high of 130 so I split the team contest into 2 flights.  The winners of Flight 1 were Plummer, Stranak, Willis, and Kim with 106 Stableford Points, and Flight 2 winners were Arnold, Dague, Kennedy, and Rostrum with 105 points.  The difference in first and last in Flight 1 was only 20 points and Flight  2 it was 27 points.  These were close contests.
The individual Flight winners were Plummer, Flight 1, Presho Flight 2, Rostrum Flight 3, and Schomberg Flight 4.  As you can see the winners in the individual flights helped their teams.
Many Skins were won today, Flight 1 (4) Fitzgibbons, Haeger, Walker, Wittemore; Flight 2 (5) Greenberg(2), Stranak, Presho, Andersen; Flight 3 (12) Rostrum(3), Green(2), McCrea, Baccaro, Kramer, Miller, Aasland, Wittemore, Howard J; Flight 4 (4) Rossman, Nevins, Thiedemann, Howard S.  CTPs were wn by Fitzgibbons, Ludlow, Arnold Green, Thiedemann, and Gastineau.
Everyone should be proud of the way the group played today.  I know that some feel they should have won a skin on a certain hole but everyone played so well that you probably were tied by someone else.  I personally had 4 birdies and won none.
Great playing!!
On a clean up note.  I know that it said on the sign up sheet that we were using 100% of your index for the team event, that was a typo.  We use 85% of your indexes as recommended by the USGA when we have this type of a team competition.  So today we used 85% for team play and 100% for individual play.
Off to Hawaii, Ron Plummer, Tournament Director
