We have space for up to thirty players to play an away event at the Talega Golf Club.  990 Avenida Talega in San Clemente.  The cost will be $101 for green fee, carts and prizes.

Mike Drennen is a regular there and helped to set this up.  We can add more players if the interest is there.  We'll need a final number by September 25th.

   

Alex Cruz held onto his round 1 lead and has won the 2025 CMSGA Club Champion gross.  Alex shot a 74 on September 10th on Los Lagos.  On September 11th his shot a 73.  Tim Bjelland was two strokes behind for second.  Alex was also our 2023 Club Champion.  

The winner also gets reimbursed for the $200 entry fee if they play as our champion in the SCGA's Tournament of Club Champions, held December 1st, at various locations, which can be viewed on the SCGA website.

Times were adjusted slightly to accommodate additional players.  We can fit in another player or two at this time.

Play will be on Mesa Linda.  The team format will be 4 players, scoring 2 best balls net.  Individual competitions include low gross, low net and net skins by flights.  

This tournament is the last three tournaments which can be used as round one toward our September 11th net championships.  The September 11th net champions will be determined by the net strokes below par using the combined round one and the September 11th second round.

August 21 Tournament Recap:

It was a clear, very warm day of golf with a full field. We had 14 players that shot in the 70's. This is the second tournament in a row where everyone that signed-up showed up to play! 

• Low gross winners by flight: Burns, Donner, Kim and Kramer
• Low net winners by flight: Basile, Hudgins, Kim and Kramer
• Overall team winners by 4 strokes: Baccaro, Walls, Kramer and Westermeyer
