We had a wonderful
day to play golf. Scores were as expected with the wet conditions but
Lift, Clean, and Place I think helped a bit.
There was a tie for first
place in the Team Event where we saw the
team of Miller, Jones, Cruz, and Haeger tie with Cary, Peterson,
Bjelland, and Greenberg each team shot a 2 best ball score of 130.
Low
gross today goes to Tim Bjelland with a 70. Low net today was a 68
shared by Bjelland, Miller, and Kim with 68.
Flight
winners are as follows, A- Bjelland, B— Chavez and Presho, C— Miller
and Kim, and D— Westermeyer. We had a total of 27 skins with Presho
getting the most with 3. Congratulations to all the winners.
A couple
of players elected not to show up and that is never
good. Please let us know as much in advance as possible to fill the
positions. I also noticed that there were more addition errors than
normal and almost, if not every case, the real score was less than the
player added.
Also, if you did not see the notice, starting this tournament the CTPs are worth $10. See all in two weeks for the annual Shamble event.

Hi Ron. Sent note to Bill. Explained that my game is finally improving. Longer distance. Actually played Mesa Linda yesterday. Late T-time at 1 was backed up. Finished 15 holes. Played with pal, Darryl Bustamante. Would like to find spot on 4th for us. Not tournament level yet. Think could work us in?
