Play will be on Mesa Linda.  The team format will be 4 players, scoring 2 best balls net, using the Stableford points system.  Individual competitions include low gross, low net and net skins by flights, also using Stableford points.

To sign up below, enter the number of players you are reserving from 1 to 4 under "quantity" in any available slot.  Enter the name of each player on the line under "Enter Player(s) Name". 

If you are unable to get a time, please add your name to the waiting list in the last slot.

We have space for up to thirty players to play an away event at the Talega Golf Club.  990 Avenida Talega in San Clemente.  The cost will be $101 for green fee, carts and prizes.

Mike Drennen is a regular there and helped to set this up.  We can add more players if the interest is there.  We'll need a final number by September 25th.

We had another great day of golf in SoCal. First I want to thank everyone for showing up or calling in advance to cancel, it helps.

• We had a tie for the team event today with the team of Johnson, Andersen, Depaola, and Nevis and the team of Kennedy, Aparicio, Curcio, and Lopez each with a 13 under total
• Low gross by flight was A Flight Burns 70, B Flight Klemens 74, C Flight Aparicio 81, and D Flight Etter 86
• Low nets by flight were A Flight Plummer 69, B Flight Johnson 65, C Flight Aparicio 66, and D Flight Etter 66
• There were a total of 18 skins won today with only two players winning more than 1; Chien and Brady with 2 each

Our members are welcome to attend our annual membership meeting and luncheon.  We are gathering at the Newport Rib Company, 21906 Harbor Blvd, at 12:30 pm, on Thursday, September 18th.  

The lunch will be a buffet including BBQ'd ribs and chicken.  The cost of the luncheon to members is $20.  Pay by PayPal (website links), check to CMSGA or club balance.  The club is subsidizing about half of the total cost from general funds (dues).  We will likely fill the parking lot, so carpooling would help.  Bar service will be available.

We will acknowledge the winners of our 2025 Championships following the preceding Thursday tournament.  We will discuss our club's business and plans for the upcoming year and elect a board of officers.  We plan a generous golf related raffle for attendees.
