Tournament Pairings and Lunch List *Here*.

Our September 19th Third Thursday Tournament begins with a 7 AM shotgun start.  It is followed by a luncheon at the Newport Rib Company and our annual membership meeting.  Dan Hudgins is the tournament director.

At the luncheon meeting we will discuss our membership numbers and the membership waiting process.  The condition of bunkers may need a special rule.  The sign up process will change with the use of a program called Sign Up Genius.  We may adjust the time the sign up sheet opens to an earlier time.  We will need to elect officers for the upcoming year.  We are looking to add a position involving website and communication management.  Contact us if that might interest you.

This tournament format is individual stroke play, with awards for low total net, low gross, and net skins by flight.  All members are eligible.  For members who have competed in at least five events since last October, this day also decides Club Champion (Gross), Club Champion (net) and Flight Champions (four flights).

The Club Champion (Gross) is decided by the lowest gross total scores from Wednesday, September 18th on Los Lagos (white tees) and this tournament.  A separate $12 entry fee is charged to cover prize awards to the top finishers.

The Club Champion (Net) is determined by the total net score from one of the last three Mesa LInda tournaments and this tournament.  The prior low net will be added to this area later today.   The winners of Club Champion (Gross) and Club Champion (net) will be eligible to play in the SCGA's Tournament of Club Champions, held December 2nd in the desert area, with entry fee rebated after play by the club.

Four Flight Champions will be recognized, using the same total score as for Club Champion (Net).  An individual players flight will be assigned based an handicap distribution on September 19th.  A prize is awarded to the top finisher in each flight.  All Champions will be added to our website's Hall of Champions.
